Hi Families,
The week in social studies we finished unit 4. In unit 4 the students learned about 8 different European explorers and how they claimed North American land for their countries. In language arts this week, the students read the story,"Black Cowboy, Wild Horses." The reading strategy for this week was reflection. The students wrote a journal entry reflecting on how they felt about the story. In science, students learned about buoyancy and how it relates to floating and sinking.
This Monday, December 6th, is Van Allen's International Day, starting at 12:45-2:45.
